José Serebrier

José Serebrier GRAMMY-winner conductor and composer José Serebrier is one of most recorded classical artists in history. He has received forty-three GRAMMY nominations in recent years and has won the Latin GRAMMY in the «Best Classical Recording of the Year» category. In 2019 Warner Classics released Serebrier’s complete box set of the symphonies by Dvořák and a complete box set of the symphonies and concertos by Glazunov.

When José Serebrier was 21 years old, Leopold Stokowski hailed him as «the greatest master of orchestral balance». Serebrier has recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic, Bamberg Symphony, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, Barcelona Symphony, Czech State Philharmonic, Weimar Staatskapelle and many others. «Serebrier Conducts Prokofiev, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky» filmed at the Sydney Opera, has been shown over 50 times on U.S. television. Serebrier conducted at the 2004 GRAMMY Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, telecast live to 175 countries. Serebrier presently records for Naxos, BIS, Warner Classics, RPO Records, RR. and Sony/BMG, DECCA, RCA, LINN, SOMM.
